Leroy Douglas, better known as Elijah Da Leadda is a reggae/dancehall artist that hails from the parish of Westmoreland Jamaica, in the community of Mount eagle aka Shanti Town. Like most ghetto youths growing up in Jamaica, he had a passion for music Reggae and Dancehall to be precise. Elijah was heavily influenced by artists such as capleton, Bounty Killer,Buju Banton and Garnett Silk along with many others. Eventually he decided to give in to his long driven urge and explore becoming an artist.After migrating to Canada while attending highschool he and fellow school mates Mally Bless, King David and Q ban decided to form a group. They started out with the name 8 killerz but it was not too long replaced with Sonz Of Da Most High, a name that better suited the conscious vibe that the group personified.Elijah has a very unique style of DJing with very positive,informative and catchy lyrics combined with a burst of melodies. The artist knows how to touch on real life topics and captivates his audience with his live performances. Through his music Elijah believes that he can help achieve unity amongst not only young black youth but all youths in general. One song at a time he plans to spread his message of oneness lyrically for the next generation and all his listeners.
